Today...
Outside my window... sunshine but actually a very comfortable day considering it's nearing the end of June!
I am thinking... about how to organize the new space in our 'office' aka: corner in the front room.
I am thankful for... How pleasant the weather has been the last few days -- and looks like into the weekend.
From the kitchen... Cherries. A fresh Roka salad w/ some sort of soft cheese (don't know??) and a dressing that George whips up with olive oil, mustard and honey for dinner.
I am wearing... A pair of wide leg capris, new black tank top and my ohsosmelly Birks. (Seriously, need a new pair. Pronto)
I am creating... Photographs for my soon-to-be-shop. I am going... to a wedding on Friday. I'm reading... Nothing right now! I just finished "Dreams of my Father" by Barack Obama. I went to a bookstore today but didn't have enough time to pick something out.
I am hoping... the oppressive 'ohmygawdiliveinhell' heat holds off just a little longer.
I am hearing... the sounds of cars/motorbikes trying to get up the hill that runs up the side of our flat. (It's steep. . and slippery on a dry day)
Around the house...there are shoes, an ikea bag.. bottles of water. ..and the iron and ironing board. Need to put those away.
A few plans for the rest of the week... Make it to the photography store and print up my first set of photos for the shop. Go back to the bookstore and find a book (for me) and card (for the wedding).
